The styling, the design and simulation of aluminum alloy wheels in front of the production are now playing a major role from the point of changing design requirements and production costs. By using the FEM calculation there are not only lower costs in the production, but also more secured quality. Moreover, the FEM calculation makes the production cycles shorter.
FEM means finite - element - method. FEM calculations help to optimize complex components and to analyze their behavior mathematically. Since 2002, all Brock wheels are calculated throughout the cycle by FEM – so the design and the sustainability can be calculated in advance of 100%.
Our wheels have been manufactured since 1999 in its own production facility in Jajce. At this town about 100 workers take care for the optimum production of the wheels. The factory was rebuilt and has the most modern machinery. Each wheel is machined after casting and controlled at the end. Of course our wheels go through an X-ray - machine vision to be able to sort out not immediately perfect products.

After production, the wheels will be painted by using modern techniques in their own paint shop. In this paint shop about 200 wheels can be coated per hour. The work is producing more than 5000 wheels in three shifts.

The complex, highly technological painting guarantees the top quality of Brock and RC rims. It is based on the Nine - Zones - Treatment of the wheels.
The treatment takes place in a 9 - zone treatment plant. The wheels are first degreased and then pickled to remove existing aluminum oxide. On the cleaned aluminum subsequently a monomulekulare layer is applied, which serves as a corrosion protection and adhesion promoter. In the intermediate zones, each wheel will be rinsed with DE - water (demineralized water), for a 100% clean guarantee. After the last rinse the wheels will be dried at about 120 degrees Celsius.

At this point we thought of the environment and used a 100% heavy metal-free pretreatment, too.

After completed treatment comes the gray primer. The primer is a powder paint that is applied electrostatically in a powder room. The powder coating is then cured at about 180 degrees Celsius for one hour.

After the primer a water-soluble base coat is applied in a 2nd system. Depending on the type of coating now different effects can be produced.

The final step is now standard on all wheels, whatever that color variation is desired, the apply of the acrylic - clear powder. The acrylic powder is also applied electrostatically and baked at about 180 degrees Celsius. The optical advantage of the acrylic powder is its transparency. In particular, polished and high-sheen wheels (SHP) keep the powder clear and their brilliance without any yellow tinge.

The highlight of the colors is applied in our paint SLC - technology. It is a combination of powder coating and PVD - technology and provides a "chrome-like" surface.
The field-proven method is applied as follows:
On the pretreated and primed wheel a metallic coat is applied by PVD – process, in the corresponding metal is vaporized in a vacuum. Then, in the same manner as already described, the acrylic - clear powder is coated. The choice of the metal determined in addition to the corrosion resistance and especially the color, brightness and brilliance of the rim.
After the painting processes, the rims are completed with accessories and packaged.

New, stable boxes with strong deposits protect the rim well from damage during transport and storage.

With these various possibilities we want to tailor the product range to the different tastes of our consumers.
